I can see how Delicious can be helpful in
making favourites accessible from any machine.
The way that Emma has chosen and organised her
favourites seems to be a good advert for using
Delicious in an efficent and effective way.
Slideshare is an effective way of sharing powerpoint
presentations. I looked at a couple of the Arcadia
lectures which I was unable to attend and found that
generally I could follow the presentation even though
I was not at the live showing.

Idlethink's set of photographs on Flickr
are excellent. I think Flickr's a good
use of the Web for sharing photos.
Sometimes pictures do convey more than
words.

Tags, labels and links seem to be
an efficient way of organising and
retrieving information from the Web.
Interesting to see how Yahoo and Google
developed as the Web expanded.
I opened a Twitter account after attending a
session with Emma at the UL. I look at it from time
to time but think it's limited in what it has to offer.
I have read some interesting posts though.
Although Doodle and google calendar seem to
be user friendly and straight-forward to
access I don't think I will use them to
replace my current methods of date keeping
and e-communications.

Things 5 and 6 now added. The instructions for
each thing are very clear and help make the
process much easier.
